Brick Company Robbed Of Over US$25K Cash In Broad Daylight
A brick company was robbed of over US$25 000 cash in broad daylight on Saturday by robbers who pretended to be potential buyers.
A police report seen by Pindula News says the robbers who were armed with pistols also got away with six cell phones. Reads the statement:
The ZRP is investigating a robbery case which occurred at a brick company in Mazowe on 05/11/22 at around 1200 hours. Three unknown suspects, who were using an unregistered silver Honda Fit Hybrid vehicle, posed as genuine customers who intended to buy 60 000 bricks at the company.
FeedbackThe trio was referred to the general manager’s office as they were negotiating for a discount. While in the general manager’s office, they withdrew two unidentified pistols and ordered everyone to lie down while demanding safe keys.
They stole US$ 25 340-00 and six cell phones before locking the six company employees in the company offices and speeding off in their getaway car.
