School Blacklists Two Form 4 Pupils Over Plot To Commit Murder And Rape

St Christopher’s High School has barred two of its former Ordinary Level students from proceeding to Advanced Level at the school for allegedly plotting to commit murder and rape.

The pair, whose identity is being protected and only referred to as “R” and “C”, were overheard planning “to kill a lady or girl and rape her body afterwards”.

As a result, the school took the decision not to enrol them for ‘A’ Level. They then approached the High Court challenging the school’s decision. Reads the court papers:

Around October 21, 2021, a certain conversation between R and C and two other pupils is alleged to have come to light at St Christopher’s School.

These two and two others are alleged to have been heard by other students openly talking about their desire or intention to shoot a lady or girl and rape her body afterwards.

In their court application, the pupils cited the school Headmistress Louise Morrisby, and her deputy Carl Lapham, the school, the trustees and the board of governors as respondents.

They argued that they were unlawfully barred from continuing with schooling.

The former pupils sought to have the decision set aside, arguing they were never informed of any specific charges in the school’s schedule of offences and that there was never any disciplinary hearing.

They also argued that the school head and other respondents were conflicted in the whole disciplinary process.

After they completed their Form 4, the two students did not return to school.

However, they continued to communicate with school authorities through their lawyers but they were rejected.

Later, the school offered conditions to be met by the two if they were to return.

The school asked the students to submit a verbal apology to the school and undergo off-campus counselling with attendant reports to the school, and a final warning letter on file.

They rejected all the conditions and approached the courts instead.

However, their court application has been dismissed with costs by High court Judge, Justice Joseph Mafusire. | NewZimbabwe.com

Whatever fantasies we had as kids, we'd materialize them if given the chance IRL. Unfortunately these dark ones cannot go unchecked. The school played it well

the lady/girl should take legal action against these boys and make sure they go to prison.if we are to say they didn't mean what they said why did they refuse to comply with just simple conditions provided by the school.

the 2 are not students but criminals whose parents are also mature thugs who quickly sought the services of the courts and lawyers to protects the crimal interests of their children.... remember criminals are not trained but vanotozvarwa vakadero while others are busy with books they are busy thinking rape strategies

It appears from the look of things, that these boys are a menace to the whole school and it's authority. They proved this by the way they have taken to find resolve from the courts. It is no wonder their character is rotten right from their homes where they get support for such uncouth behaviour. They must be sons of unmannered rich buggers, who think money can get them anything they want without regard for what's morally right to do. They refuse to be corrected yet they want to learn. In a school environment you are expected to do corrections where you have failed.

Yes @Sorojena we as school children used to fantasise a lot to some extent wishing to some day get married to a beautiful lady teacher at the school. Chokwadi the school authorities blew it out of proportion.

These are school children, especially the ama2000, they are influenced by music and so many other things, they say what they don't mean, i believe in this case the two had already had some issues with the school before...

Students always joke whenever out of sight of teachers, they even give some teachers nicknames... That's typical of children. Seems the school authority blasted the whole issue out of proportion and took it grudgingly serious. The school should have found out the motive of the threat... and did that threat really inspires fear and apprehension to the subjects. Anyway I advise these students to apply for admission in other school rather than wasting time knocking at the courts.
