Zimbabwe Coronavirus / COVID-19 Update: 26 February 2022

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 26 February 2022:
- 336 New Cases (All local) and 1 death was reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases raises to 368 from 348 (yesterday). 45 of the new cases reported today are from outbreaks detected from schools in Mash West (27), Masvingo (9), and Manicaland (9).
- Vaccination Update: 2 721 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 353 646, 1 940 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 387 899 while 1 882 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 119 003.
- As of 25 February 2022, @1500hrs there were (45) hospitalised cases: New Admissions (7), Asymptomatic (7), mild to moderate (31), severe (6) and (1) in Intensive Care Units.
- 2 633 tests done today (Positivity today was 13%)
- 249 new recoveries: National Recovery rate remains at 96% & Active cases go up 4 537
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 235 803 Cases 225 873 recoveries & 5 393 Deaths.
