Lone Robber Pounce On Norton Service Station
A man reportedly entered the cash office of a service station in Norton and threatened the employees of the station with the pistol before taking away cash amounting to US$3 050.
This was revealed by ZRP on microblogging site Twitter in a post that reads:
The ZRP is investigating a case of armed robbery which occurred on 09/01/21 in which one suspect entered into a cash office at a service station in Norton, threatened the employees with an unknown pistol, stole about USD3 050 and went away.
FeedbackZRP is yet to apprehend the suspect as they appealed to anyone who has information that might lead to the arrest of the suspect to come forward:
Anyone with information to contact the nearest police station. #notorobbery
This came a few days after Zimbabwe recorded its biggest cash heist when a cash in transit crew was last week robbed of $2.5 million along the Harare Chinhoyi highway.
