UK Donates US$43,6M To Zimbabwe Towards COVID-19 Response

The United Kingdom has donated an aid package worth US$43.6 million to Zimbabwe to augment the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The development was confirmed by the British Ambassador to Zimbabwe Ms Melanie Robinson who said:
We have announced nearly US$44 million which makes us the biggest contributor to the COVID-19 response here in Zimbabwe.
FeedbackThis shows how important the relationship between the British and Zimbabwe people is.
The UK is one of the countries that have been assisting Zimbabwe in times of need including when the Southern African country was hit by the Tropical Cyclone Idai.
The other countries are the United States, China, Russia and Japan as well as the European Union.
