4 ZRP Mbare Police Officers Rob A Farmer At Gunpoint

4 police officers have been arrested after they robbed a farmer at gunpoint, Zimlive reports.  The four officers all from ZRP Mbare reportedly teamed up with civilians to rob Albert Mubaiwa in Harare’s Waterfalls suburb last week.

According to Zimlive, The 4 went to Mubaiwa’s house and accused Mubaiwa who was called to come back home of illegally possessing Command Agriculture fertilizer. They reportedly claimed they were central intelligence organisation and military intelligence operatives.

The men assaulted Mubaiwa until he gave them a total of $12500 after his friend gave him $8000 before they left. Mubaiwa later on privately investigated them and discovered the car they drove away in belonged to one of the 4 constables.
