Former Warriors striker Tendai Ndoro has strongly denied reports that he lost all his assets to his South African ex-wife, Thando Maseko, following their divorce, contrary to widespread claims.
Ndoro, who became a household name in the South African Premiership with clubs like Orlando Pirates, Highlands Park, and Ajax Cape Town, separated from Maseko in 2022.
After their split, it was widely reported that he lost all his assets to his wife and fell on hard times.
Media reports at the time suggested that Ndoro had registered all his assets in Maseko’s name and lost everything as a result.
However, in a recent interview with award-winning South African football journalist Lorenz Kohler on his podcast, Ndoro cleared Maseko of any involvement in the challenges he faced post-divorce, exonerating her from the issues he encountered. He said:

To be honest, I want to clear my ex-wife (Maseko)’s name on this. Nothing of that sort happened. I didn’t lose anything, she didn’t take anything.
When things happen, we like to point fingers yet we don’t know what would have happened because with my ex-wife, we had a very peaceful divorce.
We had asserts, it was a matter of ‘take this and I take this. She is clean, she didn’t do anything wrong.

During the interview, Ndoro also revealed that <a href="https://www.thesouthafrican.com/lifestyle/celeb-news/local-celebs/former-orlando-pirates-star-reveals-saudi-contract/">he earned US$6,000</a> weekly at Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Faisal and was paid hard cash. 
Ndoro seemingly earned US$24 000 a month. He, however, did not reveal whether it was after taxes.
The Zimbabwean said he has been working hard to stay sharp and fit. Despite not playing competitive football for years, Ndoro has not officially retired.

My South African Ex-Wife Didn't Take My Assets, Says Tendai Ndoro

Former Chicken Inn striker Tendai Ndoro was reportedly kicked out of his affluent home in Kyalami Estates in Johannesburg, South Africa, by his South African wife.
Kyalami Estates is a secure residential estate with 24-hour controlled access, recreational parks, a dam, tennis, basketball, netball and squash courts, outdoor gyms, a soccer field among other amenities.
B-Metro reported sources as saying Ndoro had a fallout with his South African wife, Thando Maseko, who kicked him out of their home and took possession of their cars. Said a source:

It appears Ndoro’s property in South Africa is not registered in his name so when things were not going well with his wife, he was kicked out of their Kyalami Estate home.
The biggest mistake he made was not registering the house and cars in his name and that will be his downfall.
Ndoro’s family in Bulawayo are distraught about the situation because it can’t be easy to watch their son lose everything he worked hard for in South Africa and Saudi Arabia to his estranged wife.

At one point Ndoro clashed with his wife which resulted in his arrest and having to spend several days in jail over domestic violence allegations.
The former Orlando Pirates striker allegedly choked Maseko and threw a TV at her during a fight that apparently stemmed from a fake marriage certificate.
The fake certificate reportedly states that Ndoro and Maseko were married on 20 September 2017, when in fact, their wedding was in December 2017.
Last week Ndoro denied reports that he was broke. This was after pictures of the frail-looking player who was in Shamva surfaced on social media. He said:

I don’t want to speak to the media. I’m in Bulawayo. I came back from South Africa to visit my mother.
I’m actually in Bulawayo and I will be going back to South Africa soon. My family is in South Africa and why should I stay long in Zimbabwe.
</blockquote>
Reports suggest that Ndoro is broke and that he was recently given a cash injection by his close football associates Marvelous Nakamba and Kudakwshe Mahachi, among others.

Shocking images of a frail-looking <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Tendai_Ndoro">Tendai Ndoro</a> have sparked concerns over the former Orlando Pirates striker’s health.
Ndoro (36), who is back in Zimbabwe, has been training with Northern Region Division One Simba Bhora owned by a relative Simba Ndoro.
Ndoro has played in South Africa and the Middle East but is back home due to ill health and is not well enough to start training.
Speaking to The Herald, Simba Ndoro said they have not yet reached any agreement with Tendai as he was not feeling well. He said:

I am related to Tendai, we are both Ndoros, so he is with the team, as he continues to recover from an ailment.
He is with us but we have not reached any agreement, as far as his joining us, is concerned.
Tendai is in camp as I felt he needed a place where he could recuperate as he has not been feeling well of late.
In camp, he can have peace of mind and, as a team, we also have a team doctor, who is helping assess him.

The team have, however, not ruled out bringing him on board, if his condition improves. Added Ndoro:

Tendai is an experienced player, who when fully fit, every team will want him on board, so we can’t rule out chances of having him, on our books.
He has a lot of experience and, if he has fully recovered, we will start from there but, right now, we are just assisting him, as one of us.

“Fire 7” as Tendai Ndoro was known, played for a number of PSL teams during his stay in South Africa, including Orlando Pirates (60 matches), Cape Town City FC (43), Highlands Park (28) and Ajax Cape Town (8).
He scored 23 goals in all competitions for Orlando Pirates between 2015 and 2017.
His last PSL match was for Highlands Park against Kaizer Chiefs in January 2020 before he officially left the club in May last year.

Absa Premiership side Highlands Park has revealed why it parted ways with Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro.
In an interview with KickOff.com Brad Kaftel, one of the club’s directors said Ndoro just didn’t do enough to impress coach Owen Da Gama. Said Kaftel:
<blockquote>He is a quality player. He scored that vital goal for us against Bloemfontein Celtic late last season to get us those points but he hasn’t done much this season. The coach couldn’t play him, so if he’s not performing for us, it’s better that he moves on.
He’s a quality player and I’m sure he will find another club. I think he did well for us last season, but this season really he hasn’t done much, I think he scored one or two goals.</blockquote>
Meanwhile, Ndoro was seemingly elated by his sacking from Highlands Park. Posting on Instagram the day before the announcement of the separation was made, He said:
<blockquote>Today marks the beginning of the happiest day of my life. When God decides to bless you big all you can do is glorify him. Creativity is the only way to build an empire.</blockquote>
The Thembisa-based side announced on their Twitter handle on Wednesday that Ndoro had left the club, without giving the details.
Ndoro joined Highlands Park from Ajax Cape Town in 2018 and scored only 5 goals for the club.

Reasons Behind Ndoro's Departure From Highlands Park Revealed

Absa Premiership side Highlands Park has parted ways with Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro.
The club confirmed the development on their official social channels on Wednesday. The statement read:
<blockquote>Highlands Park FC confirms the amicable parting of ways with Tendai Ndoro following a meeting between both parties late on Tuesday.
The club wishes him well and is thankful for his contribution to the team as well as the professionalism displayed during his time with us.</blockquote>
Ndoro was reportedly earning R100 000 per month, making him one of the high earners at the club.
The 35-year-old made 14 appearances for the Lions of the North this season, having made his last appearance on January 08, during the 1-0 loss against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium.
His existing deal was set to expire at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral has said that he felt that it was in the best interests of the club and the player if Tendai Ndoro left the club. Said Ertugral,

I also felt that there are some personal off-the-field issues that he needs to deal with. It was unfortunate that the whole thing of ineligibility happened. Ndoro Needed A New Start To Get His Life In Order: Ajax Explains Why They Released Ndoro

The South African Football Association (SAFA) has fined Ajax Cape Town R150 000 and awarded three matches to Ajax’s opponents on a 3-0 scoreline. This effectively relegates Ajax as it had managed two wins against Platinum Stars and SuperSport United, as well as a draw with Polokwane City in the matches it has forfeited. This comes after Ajax were found guilty of fielding an ineligible player in Tendai Ndoro.
Ndoro was ineligible to play as FIFA regulations prevent a player from playing for three clubs in the same season. Ndoro played 13 minutes during the opening match of the season for Orlando Pirates before moving to Saudi club Al-Faisaly. However, he left the Saudi club and joined Ajax after he went months without getting paid.
Ajax Cape Town has said that it will challenge the ruling.

Ajax Cape Town Relegated, Fined R150 000 For Using Tendai Ndoro

Zimbabwe international forward Tendai Ndoro said he is pleased to be the Warriors captain for the two friendly matches against Lesotho at the Sesotho Stadium today and against Namibia in the Hage Geingob Cup on Saturday. Ndoro will be deputised by Nottingham Forest defender Tendayi Darikwa, who was given extra responsibilities on his Warriors debut appearance.

Warriors striker Tendai Ndoro is set to receive $60 000 after Saudi Arabian top-flight side Al Faisaly paid $600 000 to South African side Orlando Pirates for his signature. Ndoro posted that he had become successful despite his lack of formal education, and the fact that he grew up in poverty. Said Ndoro

Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro expressed disappointment after narrowly losing the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot to Cape Town City forward Lebohang Manyama. In total Ndoro scored 12 goals while Manyama scored 13.
Ndoro did not get enough game time since the arrival of a new coach Kjell Jonevret in February. He however did not blame the Swedish coach for his narrow loss. Said Ndoro:
