FIFA banned Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) president Samuel Eto’o on Monday from attending national team games for six months.
He will now be barred from various age groups of men’s and women’s games.
Eto’o faced two charges from an incident at the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia on September 11.
FIFA did not specify details of what happened at the round-of-16 game that Brazil won against Cameroon 3-1 after extra time. FIFA said in a statement:

FIFA’s disciplinary committee has not disclosed specific details about the incidents involving Samuel Eto’o.
However, he has been found guilty of “offensive behaviour, violations of fair play principles,” and “misconduct” related to officials.
This ban follows a recent fine from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for alleged breaches of ethical standards.
The 43-year-old Eto’o represented Cameroon in four World Cups and won consecutive Champions League titles with both Barcelona and Inter Milan, establishing himself as one of football’s greatest forwards.

Some people have suggested that the poor performance of Bafana Bafana could be attributed to the management of the football association, which is led by the ANC Mayor, a political party that is considered corrupt and inefficient. Others argue that although the South African League is strong and competes in continental tournaments, it has many foreign players from countries like Zimbabwe, Malawi, Uganda, and even Brazil. When these foreign players return to their home countries, they strengthen their own national teams rather than South Africa’s. Despite this, some believe that the resources and organisation of the league should enable South Africa to have a stronger national squad.

Samuel Eto'o Baffled By South Africa's Performance At AFCON

Recently-elected Cameroonian Football Federation president Samuel Eto’o reportedly fired some of the association’s workers Wednesday morning, after they reported for work late.
The former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker was elected president of the federation on Saturday, after beating incumbent Seydou Mbombo Njoya by 43 votes to 31.
Eto’o, according to Cameroonian publication CFoot, arrived at the federation’s offices at 7:30 am, and all workers who came after 8 am were sent back home.
The publication also claims that Eto’o made it clear to the workers yesterday, that work starts at 8 am.
