Real Madrid Football Club has announced the termination of captain Karim Benzema’s contract by mutual agreement. In an official statement seen by Pindula News, the La Liga giants described the French international as “one of our greatest legends.”
Benzema joined our club in 2009 at the age of 21 and has been a fundamental player in this golden age of the club’s history. Benzema has won 25 titles during the fourteen seasons, a record number for any Real Madrid player. The club said:

Real Madrid Announce The Termination Of Karim Benzema's Contract

Real Madrid Football Club has confirmed that Eden Hazard, one of the Premier League’s biggest stars, will leave the club this month after reaching an agreement to terminate his contract a year early. The 32-year-old Belgian joined Madrid from Chelsea in July 2019, signing a five-year deal worth an initial €100 million. However, his four seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu have been plagued by persistent injury problems, with just six La Liga appearances this season, four of them as a substitute, and no goals scored.
In a statement released on Saturday, Real Madrid announced that they have reached an agreement with Hazard to release him from the club as of June 30, 2023. Hazard’s injury problems began during his first season in Madrid, with an ankle fracture requiring surgery and the insertion of a metal plate, causing further problems that led to its removal two years later.
As a result, Hazard never recovered his form and fitness, and his preferred left-wing position was occupied by rising star Vinicius Junior. He retired from international football in December 2022 after Belgium’s group-stage exit at the World Cup. A month earlier, Hazard had apologised to Real Madrid fans in an interview with the newspaper Marca, rating his impact on the field as “zero” and saying he would accept a move this summer.

Real Madrid Confirms Eden Hazard's Early Contract Termination

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has named Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and Ederson as the three players who were incredible in the semi-final first leg of the Uefa Champions League match against Real Madrid played at Bernabeu last night.
The Belgian scored the equaliser for City after Vinicius Junior opened the scoring for the hosts and defending European champions at the Santiago Bernabeu.
De Bruyne’s 67th-minute strike from the edge of the box proved enough to earn a draw for City with the tie now set to be decided at the Etihad Stadium next Wednesday.

Champions League: Guardiola Names 3 City Players Incredible Against Madrid

Former Real Madrid, Germany and Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, has announced his immediate retirement at the age of 34 citing injuries.
The World Cup Winner wrote on Instagram saying that it was becoming “more and more clear that it’s time to leave the big stage of football”, with injuries playing a part in his decision.
Ozil’s final game came on February 2, when he was substituted at half-time during Istanbul Basaksehir’s 1-0 defeat at Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig. It was one of just two starts he made for the club after signing from Fenerbahce last summer.

He made the remarks right after the conclusion of the Ballon d’Or ceremony where Karim Benzema won the prestigious award. Perez said:

Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, who quit the club last week, has revealed why he resigned.
The Frenchman handed his resignation after the team’s final game of the season against Villarreal and had been tight-lipped on the reasons behind his second departure from Los Blancos until now.
In an open letter to Madrid fans, as published by Spanish outlet AS, the 48-year-old said he left his post after feeling that club president Florentino Perez has lost faith in him. He wrote:

I’m going, but I’m not jumping overboard, nor am I tired of coaching. In May 2018 I left because after two and a half years, with so many victories and so many trophies, I felt the team needed a new approach to stay at the very highest level.

Zidane Breaks Silence On Why He Quit Real Madrid

Toni Kroos opened the scoreline for Real Madrid in the return to the competition on Sunday night. Los Blancos was playing against Eibar in a match they eventually won 3-1.
Madrid got their goals from Toni Kroos 4′ Sergio Ramos 30′ and Marcelo Vieira 37′ while the visitors got their consolation goal from Pedro Bigas 60′. 

The Whites are currently two points behind log leaders and reigning champions, FC Barcelona who also won all the three points last night after beating Mallorca 4-0. FC Barca skipper, Lionel Messi was on target.
