<p>A <a href="https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=2024-01-01%202024-10-08&amp;geo=ZW&amp;q=itel&amp;hl=en-GB">check on search interest tracking platform Google Trends</a>, shows that the S23 beats all newer itel smartphones in popularity. it has maintained uniform interest throughout the year, despite the release more newer and more capable itel smartphones such as its successor the <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/market/itel-s24-128gb-22-20240426142756795795/">itel S24</a>.</p>

<h2>What about itel A70?</h2>

That record is yet to be beaten, and that has also made the A70 relatively more popular than its successor. Still, it’s not as popular as the S23.</p>
<p>At the end the S23 is a more capable device on many other fronts compared to the itel A70. </p>
<h2>Reduction in price</h2>
<p>As with all phones after release, the price has continued to go down as newer phones are released. From a about $120 at release, the itel S23 now ranges below $100.</p>

<p>The selfie camera is very capable as we have come to expect from Itel devices. It almost feels like they spent more money putting on a higher-quality selfie camera and going for an average rear camera. It takes very clear selfies with better sharpness and detail than the rear main camera and lower noise level in challenging lighting. It’s a really decent selfie camera.</p>

<h2>It’s a cheap chipset</h2>

<p>Pindula is reliably informed that the latest itel S23+ will soon be available in Zimbabwe.</p>
<p>The S23 Plus follows hard on the heels of the successful standard <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/market/itel-s23-22-20230608161024425383/">Itel S23 phone</a>, bringing some significant improvements.</p>
<h2><strong>S23+ Curved HD+ AMOLED Screen</strong> </h2>
<p>The biggest highlight of this latest phone is the new curved screen. The S23 Plus spots a curved Full HD+ AMOLED screen. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.</p>
<p>This is the first itel phone to get an AMOLED screen, and a curved one at that.</p>
<p>These changes means the screen is much brighter  clearer, sharper and much stronger. It also means the phone has a very improved modern look.</p>

<p>Other improvements are on the Processor, the size of the phone, the size of the screen, the selfie camera, improved fast charging, and the Android version (now 13). </p>
