<p>Warriors legend Shingi Kawondera says she met his ailing ex-wife Marry Mubaiwa-Chiwenga in 2004 through the late socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure.</p>
<p>Marry was married to Terry Mandizha when she met Kawondera for the first time. Speaking in an exclusive interview with <em>Zim Morning Post</em>, Kawondera said:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>I met her (Marry) through Ginimbi. I had met Ginimbi around 2004 but was more close to his cousin Terry who is Mudiwa’s brother.</p>
<p>What happened is I was in camp at Cresta Lodge hotel and l wanted a local number since I had just got back from Cyprus.</p>
<p>Terry sent Ginimbi with the line. l gave him (Ginimbi) an old US$100 <em>akabva atadza kuichinja</em> (he failed to make use of it) and he came back the next day when I was preparing to go for lunch.</p>
<p>Then l opened my drawer to take my perfume and Ginimbi <em>achibva awona mari</em> (Genius saw my money).</p>
<p>l had something like $7 000 and he was like <em>mdhara mari yese ndeyei ndakati if we win our game ndeye party.</em></p>
<p>If we lose <em>hameno.</em> (You have so much money, if you win the game we ought to party and if you do not we will still make a plan!).</p>
<p>He went to his knees. Remember I didn’t know him? This was our second meeting <em>zvikanzi mudhara</em> please if u can give me this money about $5k I will buy Econet sim cards.</p>
<p>I will come back in two to three days even before your game and repay you.</p>
<p>l trusted him and gave him US$5 000. After three days he came back and he had sold them in two days. I didn’t ask for my money back since we were like partners.</p>
<p>He was already into gas but he didn’t have enough capital so we used to sell only two to three tanks per day.</p>
<p>When l went to Turkey around 2005-2006 that is when Pioneer Gases started.</p>
<p>I brought in about US$60 000 then we drove to Ndola in Zambia <em>takahodha gas, rakawanda.</em></p>
<p>I know they are some people who claim to have helped Ginimbi but they can never tell that to me as far as Pioneer gases is concerned. I know better.</p>

<p>Kawondera said Marry was at the same hotel where she wanted to meet Charles Mhlauri (who was the Warriors coach) with a view of asking him to be one of the judges at one of the beauty pageants.</p>
<p>That was where Ginimbi introduced Kawondera to Marry and they exchanged numbers because he wanted to assist her to convince Mhlauri, so he said.</p>
<p>Kawondera said Ginimbi later told him that Marry was his niece and he kept in touch with her even though she was still married to Mandizha. He said:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>When l was in Turkey l was a bit bored remember we didn’t have WhatsApp those days and l couldn’t send a text to Econet. </p>
<p>So I started scrolling my phone, you know looking for someone with a Netone number, and only Mary was available so we started chatting.</p>
<p>“he was still married then and it was a genuine clean chat.</p>
<p>When I came back from Turkey I was staying with Ginimbi in Strathaven. I called Marry just to check on her, she said she would visit, but l wasn’t putting much pressure.</p>
<p>Then one day we were just chilling in the morning, King Labash and Ginimbi and I was like Ginimbi, do you know that I still talk to the queen of your clan <em>zvekuti ndichida kutopedza masports ndogona kutopedza</em> (laughs) (If I want to win her heart I can).</p>
<p>Ginimbi laughed at me and said <em>wakuda kuzvi</em> bigger (you’re bragging too much). Then l called Marry and she said she would come within an hour.</p>
<p>Ginimbi <em>musi iyoyo akakorobha mumba ndati</em>,(Ginimbi swept the house to clean up), well that’s how Marry is important to their clan, she came after an hour.</p>

<p>After that visit, Kawondera and Marry’s friendship blossomed into love and later into marriage.</p>
<p>The short-lived marriage produced the now 13-year old daughter.</p>

Shingi Kawondera Speaks On Meeting Marry, And How Ginimbi Started Gas Business

<p>High Court judge Justice Amy Tsanga has granted Juliet and Neria Kadungure, sisters to the late socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure, the authority to enjoy their inheritance.</p>
<p>This comes after lawyer Patricia Darangwa tried to dispose of some of Ginimbi’s supercars, a Lamborghini, claiming that she was the executor of his estate.</p>
<p>Darangwa presented an unsigned will purportedly written by the late Ginimbi and the will was accepted by the Master of the High Court.</p>
<p>Ginimbi’s family appealed against Darangwa’s appointment as the executor of the estate and the request was granted by the High Court.</p>
<p>However, the family’s hands remained tied after Darangwa appealed to the Supreme Court.</p>
<p>While the Supreme Court is yet to make a ruling on Darangwa’s appeal, it emerged that she was trying to sell one of Ginimbi’s immovable properties in Botswana.</p>
<p>According to Juliet, Darangwa had been writing to the Master of Botswana High Court posing as the executor of Kadungure’s estate.</p>
<p>This prompted Juliet and Neria to file the present urgent chamber application, which has been granted by Justice Amy Tsanga. In her ruling, Justice Tsanga said:</p>

<p>It is the court’s finding that the family should be allowed to enjoy what the late Genius Kadungure left them.</p>
<p>Therefore, the application for leave to execute the order, pending the appeal at the Supreme Court, is hereby granted.</p>

<p>Ginimbi died in the wee hours of Sunday, 08 November 2020 along Borrowdale Road in Harare when his speeding Rolls Royce collided with a Honda Fit, veered off the road and hit a tree before catching fire.</p>
<p>Ginimbi was in the company of model and fitness trainer Michelle “Moana” Amuli, a Mozambican and a Malawian national.</p>
<p>He was pulled out of the car alive but died moments later. The other occupants of the car were trapped inside and were burned to death.</p>

High Court Grants Ginimbi's Sisters Authority To Enjoy Inheritance

<p>Controversial cleric Passion Java said he had a good relationship with the late socialite Genius Kadungure, better known as Ginimbi, saying some people took their frequent public social media verbal spats personally.</p>
<p>Speaking on the DennyJ podcast last week, Java, who is considered a prophet by his congregants, and is a ZANU PF activist, said he failed to attend Ginimbi’s funeral because those in charge of proceedings were discriminatory. He said:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>Ginimbi was my guy. I always talk with his family and I passed my condolences.</p>
<p>Of course, I went to the funeral at Doves but <em>kumba</em>, I saw it that people <em>vanenge vaipinzwa</em> due to their faces.</p>
<p><em>Paiitwa chiface</em>, I looked at the faces there and their skins. So, I didn’t go.</p>
<p>There are some people who took my games with Ginimbi personal, but we used to talk on the phone.</p>
<p>But <em>pamwe pacho ndaimukobora hangu, ndozoti sorry hangu but chibhakera chinenge chasvika.</em></p>
<p>I used to go to his house, I would also send Mudiwa. I felt that there were some people who took it personally. <em>So, zvaisaita ndiende kunhamo.</em></p>
<p>But, I miss Ginimbi, the street is dry, <em>ndangosara ndega chibaba, ko vamwe vari kupi?</em> Madam Boss seems to be number two.</p>

<p>Java also claimed to be in good books with controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo despite joking about his size. Said Java:</p>

<p>He is my friend, there was a time when people lied that he posted about me. We talk and it’s now two years, I have his number.</p>

<p>My jokes are entertaining, they don’t hurt. Even during the days, I would have disses with Towers, he would laugh.</p>

Java Speaks On His Relationship With Ginimbi And Wicknell

<p>Ginimbi’s former wife, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Zodwa_Mkandla" rel="noopener" target="_blank"><strong>Zodwa Mkandla</strong></a> said the late Genius Kadungure’s assets should all be accounted for first before anyone can benefit.</p>
<p>Last week, Mkandla, through her lawyers Venturas and Samkange, wrote a letter to Ginimbi’s long-time friend, Nomatter Zinyengere to have a Bentley Continental GT under his custody surrendered.</p>
<p>Zodwa wants the car registered with the Master of High Court as required in terms of the Administration of Estates Act and surrendered to the Executor.</p>
<p>She said she does need not the car or any part of Ginimbi’s estate but wants all the assets that belonged to the late socialite registered in his estate. Said Mkandla:</p>
<blockquote><p>Everyone knows that I bought that car and because it was registered by Genius, it should be part of his estate, no two ways about it.</p>
<p>People think that the cars that Genius left and all the other things are his net worth not realising that there are some huge bills that are outstanding and would need to be cleared first.</p>
<p>That is why everything that Genius left must be included in the estate and outstanding bills are settled before anyone can benefit.</p>
<p>People, including his friends, should not hurry to lay claim to any of his properties before due processes.</p>
<p>We know he had businesses in South Africa, vehicles for those businesses, bank accounts and so forth and all those have to be accounted for and included in his estate.</p>
<p>… There is nothing that happened with Genius, with regards his businesses, that he would not inform me and, especially that car given that I am the one who bought it.</p></blockquote>
<p>The Bentley Continental GT was reportedly bought by Zodwa from the UK in 2013, while Ginimbi paid for duty in Zimbabwe.</p>

Zodwa Mkandla Says Ginimbi's Family & Friends Should Be Patient

<p>The High Court has issued an order barring the executor of Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s estate from processing the late socialite’s property following an urgent application by his sisters and father.</p>
<p>The late Ginimbi’s sisters; Juliet and Nelia, and his father Anderson Kadungure, approached the High questioning the legitimacy of an unsigned will presented by lawyer Patricia Darangwa.</p>
<p>On Monday Justice Sylvia Chirawu-Mugomba granted the application by the Kadungure family.</p>
<p>Justice Chirawu-Mugomba found Darangwa at fault in authorising the release of a Lamborghini in the absence of a proper liquidation and distribution account. She said:</p>
<blockquote><p>In my view, there are prima facie red flags in the document itself, processes and manner leading to the acceptance of the document as a will… Darangwa be and hereby interdicted from administering the estate of the late Genius Kadungure.</p></blockquote>
<p>She also interdicted the Master of High Court “from accepting any process in relation to the administration of the estate of the late Genius Kadungure under DR No. 1771/20 filed by or on behalf of Darangwa.”</p>
<p>Justice Chirawu-Mugomba also noted that Ginimbi’s estate spans three countries, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana.</p>
<p>The three countries obviously have different laws and processes in relation to the administration of estates of deceased foreigners. The judge said:</p>
<blockquote><p>That in itself may entail external conflict of laws.</p></blockquote>
<p>Ginimbi died in a car crash in November last year when his Rolls Royce veered off the road in Harare and rammed into a tree.</p>
<p>The car exploded into a fireball a few moments after the collision, killing him on the spot and three friends.</p>
<p>Ginimbi had several expensive supercars, including a Bentley, Ferrari, and a Lamborghini.</p>

Court Stops Processing Of Ginimbi's Estate Over Dubious Will

<p>The late Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s business manager, Ms Shally (real name Shaleen Manhire-Nullens) says she is still hurting following the death of the socialite on 8 November in a horrific car crash.</p>
<p>In memory of him, she decided to buy a sweater similar to one that was owned by the late socialite.</p>
<p>Taking to social media on Friday, Ms Shally who was always supportive of Ginimbi posted an image of her clad in the sweater with the caption:</p>
<blockquote><p>Some things are bought just because they remind you of a specific special person.</p></blockquote>
<p>This caption also served as a disclaimer for social media police who likely would have jumped into the conclusion that Ms Shally took the sweater from the late’s belongings.</p>

<p>Earlier, Ms Shally used social media to dispel rumours claiming that she was evicted from Ginimbi’s Domboshava mansion by his former wife Zodwa Mkandla. Wrote Ms Shally:</p>
<blockquote><p>I don’t usually respond to rumours but I decided to respond just to this one. When God decided to take Genius “Ginimbi” away, that second my position in his precious life was no more.</p>
<p>I was living with Genius not because I was homeless 😂😂.</p>
<p>When Genius was buried I flew back to South Africa the next day because I can’t live in that house without him, every corner of that house holds precious memories.</p>
<p>I have been living in South Africa to be specific Sandton central since 1999 it’s as good as home to me.</p>
<p>Anything that has to do with Genius I’m just a call away. I will stay loyal to him until the day we meet again. Shallo😊.</p></blockquote>

Ms Shally Buys Sweater As Alike Ginimbi's Jersey

<p>Zodwa “Zozo” Mkandla, the ex-wife of flamboyant businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure has rejected rumours claiming that the late socialite had a snake which vomited money.</p>
<p>Zozo told <em>The Sunday Mail</em> last week that she met Ginimbi in 2006 when he was 23 and became “just friends” and it was only in 2009 that they started dating.</p>
<p>She said when they first met, Ginimbi had “nothing” but as a hard worker with only one Ordinary Level subject (Agriculture) to his name, he entered the gas business and worked himself to the top. Said Zozo:</p>
<blockquote><p>When we first met, Genius had nothing to his name — <em>anga asina chinhu</em> (he had nothing) — but the man was such a hard worker.</p>
<p>He would wake up at 5 am to do his gas business. He continued to work hard throughout his life until he made it to the top.</p>
<p>I was the first in business, hence I was wiser. Genius had bigger business ideas but I always helped him with the wisdom. Likewise, I would go to him for business advice.</p>
<p>What I can say without any shadow of a doubt is that Ginimbi was a go-getter and never used juju.</p>
<p>If there are snakes which vomit money, why can’t people get them and be rich? I watched Genius grow from nothing to a millionaire through sheer hard work.</p></blockquote>
<p>Zozo also dismissed claims that Ginimbi’s “All White” parties were rituals associated with his ventures. She said:</p>
<blockquote><p>We all have our colours and his theme was white; what has that to do with <em>mushonga</em> (rituals)? I lived with Genius and I never saw any juju or rituals.</p>
<p>The parties were just him having fun. <em>Anga arimunhu aida zvekunakirwa hake</em> (he was just someone who liked to have fun).</p></blockquote>

Ginimbi's Ex Wife Addresses 'Snake' Rumours, 'Ritual' All White Parties

<p>Zari Hassan has travelled to Zimbabwe to console late tycoon Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s grieving ex-wife, Zodwa Mkandla, Tuko reports.</p>
<p>The mother of five who was broken by the socialite’s death visited the place where he crashed and his grave.</p>
<p>Taking to her Instagram page on Friday, November 20, the South Africa-based Ugandan socialite shared short videos spending time with Ginimbi’s ex-wife, Zodwa.</p>
<p>The Ugandan socialite visited Zimbabwe days after leaving Tanzania where she had gone to visit her baby daddy.</p>
<p>Kadungure died on 8 November 2020, in a road accident along Borrowdale Road in Harare that also claimed the lives of three of his friends; Limumba Karim, Mitchelle “Moana” Amuli and Alicia Adams.</p>

Zari Hassan Visits Ginimbi's Ex Wife Zodwa Mkandla In Harare

<p>An individual only identified as “KIT KAT” was listed as the heir to the late businessman and socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s Lamborghini vehicle.</p>
<p>This was revealed in an unsigned will purportedly made by Kadungure, which was submitted to the Master’s Office at the High Court this week.</p>
<p>A Harare man, Nomatter Zinyengere, claiming to be Kadungure’s best friend, this week registered the deceased’s estate and unsuccessfully tried to push the Master of High Court into accepting the unsigned will.</p>
<p>It is not clear if Zinyengere was “KIT-KAT” but an online check identified him (Zinyengere) as the director of a South African registered company called KAT Group, which was incorporated in August 2019.</p>
<p>The will show that Kadungure owned the Domboshava mansion, a company called Infinity Gas, an undisclosed fleet of vehicles and several other companies.</p>
<p>Ranros Estate Administrators, who are the custodians of the unsigned will, wrote a cover letter seeking the speedy acceptance of the unsigned document as the actual last will and testament for the distribution of the estate. The letter read in part:</p>
<blockquote><p>The deceased died before signing his last will and testament. We are therefore kindly asking your office to urgently convene a meeting with all beneficiaries so that you can accept the will and issue the court sealed letters of administration.</p>
<p>The deceased had a running business in Botswana and it stopped operations on November 9, 2020. The laws of that country require the estate to be reported to the Master of High Court within 14 days so that operations will resume.</p>
<p>The major fear of the beneficiaries is that the business partners of the deceased in Botswana might take advantage of and vandalise the assets of the deceased.</p></blockquote>
<p>Genius’s father Anderson Kadungure and sisters Juliet and Neria were listed as possible beneficiaries of the estate.</p>
<p>However, the Office of the Master through a letter signed by K F Chigomararwa, an Additional Master of High Court in charge of the Deceased Estates, refused to accept the unsigned will.</p>
<p>Chigomararwa asked the Kadungure family members and other beneficiaries to attend a meeting on Wednesday next week to sort out the way forward and deal with administrative details such as the appointment of the executor.”</p>

<p>Temba Mliswa, MP for Norton (Independent) on Saturday said no Zimbabwean politician will be mourned by so many people as happened to the late businessman and socialite Genius Kadungure, better known as Ginimbi.</p>
<p>Mliswa was speaking at the burial of Ginimbi in Domboshava where thousands of mourners from all walks of life congregated. Said Mliswa:</p>
<blockquote><p>Genius had a good heart. You can say all you want about us politicians but there is no politician that will get a send-off like that of Genius.</p>
<p>Genius was disciplined, he could never miss training sessions, no matter what time he arrived home, he could still come and train.</p>

<p>Pokello Nare, former deputy information minister and MP for the area Energy Mutodi, Marry Mubaiwa, Uncle Roland and DJ Rimo were some of the popular figures who were at Ginimbi’s burial.</p>

<p>The late Genius Kadungure, better know as Ginimbi, had no child, his manager for seven years Shaleen Nullens has said.</p>
<p>Nullens said a lot of rumours about the late Kadungure have been flying since his death but people should understand the family is mourning. She said:</p>

<p>Nullens also claimed that Ginimbi sold about 26 trucks in South Africa in the past two months but it was not an indication that he was dying. She said:</p>

He had a big fleet in South Africa, we are talking about 26 trucks which he sold; so he was not selling to say he was dying or that his business was going down but that they had depreciated and he wanted to buy new ones.</p>
<p>Genius was excellent when it comes to creating a structure. He knew how to delegate duties so you would find that in all the companies the structures were very strong. It is very unfortunate that the brain behind the ideas is gone now.</p>

Pokello Nare’s Moving Tribute To The Late Ginimbi

<p>The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has granted the friends of the late businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure permission to hold a farewell party in his honour at his Domboshava mansion in Mashonaland East Province.</p>
<p>In a letter dated 12 November 2020, and addressed to Mike Chimombe and All Friends of Ginimbi, ZRP Chinamhora said they can hold the event today, but warned them against violating the corpse.</p>
<p>Police also ordered the Friends of Ginimbi and to ensure that peace and order are maintained throughout. The letter read in part:</p>
<blockquote><p>Your request to conduct a farewell party for the late Genius Gini Kadungure at Ginimbi’s Mansion, Domboshava on the 12th of November 2020 from 1800 hours till late has been received.</p>

<p>The body of the late businessman Genius Kadungure, better known as Ginimbi, will be taken to Dreams Night Club before heading to his rural area in Domboshava where it will be buried.</p>
<p><em>H-Metro</em> has gathered that a convoy ferrying the casket will pass through the place where Ginimbi died together with three others in a road traffic accident on Sunday.</p>
<p>The casket arrived in the country on Wednesday from South Africa and the burial is set to take place on Saturday. <em>H-Metro</em> quoted its source as having said:</p>
<blockquote><p>Ginimbi’s burial is going ahead this Saturday and on Friday we are expecting to take the body to Dreams Night Club before heading to Domboshava ahead of the burial on Saturday at the mansion.</p>
<p>The body will be taken to Domboshava and will lie in state in the mansion and later taken to a tent outside to allow everyone to see.</p>
<p>Artistes will entertain mourners at the tent erected outside the mansion since we are expecting a number of local and foreign people to attend the burial service.</p></blockquote>

Ginimbi Body Set For Parade At Night Club, Accident Spot Before Burial

<p>The late socialite and flamboyant businessman, Genius Kadungure, better known as Ginimbi’s autopsy results have been revealed, <em>Nhau/Indaba</em> reports.</p>
<p>The autopsy results showed that Ginimbi died from internal bleeding, and this puts to rest various conspiracy theories flying around about the cause of his death.</p>
<p>Family spokesperson, Darling Kadungure, told <em>Nhau/Indaba</em> that Ginimbi underwent a post-mortem on Tuesday and the results said Ginimbi died from “haemorrhagic shock in polytrauma”.</p>
<p>According to online sources, hemorrhagic shock occurs when the body begins to shut down due to large amounts of blood loss.</p>
<p>People suffering injuries that involve heavy bleeding may go into hemorrhagic shock if the bleeding isn’t stopped immediately.</p>
<p>Common causes of haemorrhagic shock include severe burns, deep cuts, gunshot wounds and trauma amputations.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Ginimbi’s burial will take place on the grounds of his Domboshava mansion, as per his instructions before he died.</p>
<p>Ginimbi is also said to have instructed his family no to rush his burial as “many people will come from all over the world”.</p>
<p>The controversial businessman died on Sunday between 5 am and 6 am when his Rolls-Royce hit a Honda Fit and veered off the road before hitting a tree along Borrowdale Road.</p>
<p>Eyewitness accounts have indicated that Ginimbi was pulled out of the wreckage alive but died shortly afterwards. His colleagues, Malawian Limumba Karim, Mitchelle “Moana” Amuli and popular Mozambican model Alichia Adams, were trapped in the car and were burnt beyond recognition when the car burst into flames.</p>

<p>Lucky Chikwanda, the driver of the blue Honda Fit which collided with the late socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s Rolls Royce on Sunday said it pains him when people accuse him of causing the businessman’s death.</p>
<p>Lucky said he is “just a poor guy” and the claims that he intentionally caused the accident which killed Ginimbi are outrageous as the Rolls Royce was “flying”.</p>
<p>Lucky experienced minor injuries and is recovering at home after medical treatment.</p>
<p>Speaking to <em>ZTN News</em>, Lucky said he is lucky to be alive. He said:</p>
<blockquote><p>My life flashed before my eyes. l don’t even know what saved me because we could have died on the spot.</p>
<p>I was with my friend, Artwell; driving at about 60 to 80 kilometres per hour, on our way from Hatcliff.</p>
<p>Just as we approached the curve after Borrowdale Police Station, l saw a car trying to overtake two others.</p>
<p>The vehicle encroached into my lane and it was too late for the driver to apply emergency brakes and for me to avoid him because he was speeding.</p>

<p>The late businessman and socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure built a mansion in the village, in rural Domboshava.</p>
<p>The two-storey house is built on four acres of land in rural Domboshava which is 39 kilometres from Harare. Speaking to State media in 2018, Ginimbi said this about the house’s design:</p>
<blockquote><p>When I engaged an architect to design my house, I made sure that he understood the way I live my life.</p>
<p>I instructed him to study me from my choice of cars to dress sense to social interests and come up with something that depicts all of these things. And the result was two-storey buildings of pure class.</p></blockquote>

Zimbabweans React: To Ginimbi's Death

<p>In the video, comedienne <a href="https://twitter.com/HeraldZimbabwe/status/1325337329049997312">Madam Boss</a>, consoles an unidentified relative of <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Genius_Kadungure">Ginimbi</a> at the scene of accident that killed him early Sunday morning. Genius Kadungure was in the company of 3 female friends and were traveling in a Rolls Royce returning from a birthday party of one of the occupants of the car, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Moana">Moana</a>.</p>
<p>Madam Boss was a friend of the deceased.</p>

<p>The video of <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Genius_Kadungure">Ginimbi</a>‘s last status on social media before <a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2020/11/08/genius-ginimbi-kadungure-has-died/">he died</a> that same night in a car crash that also took the lives of his 3 friends.</p>
<p>In the status video Ginimbi’s said he was heading out in his Rolls Royce to celebrate the birthday of a friend, Moana.</p>
<p>In the morning of the 8th of November around 5 AM, the Rolls Royce collided with another car resulting in the car crashing into trees and bursting into flames. Ginimbi was thrown out of the vehicle and died on the spot.</p>
<p>His friends who were in the car, 3 ladies, also lost their lives in the burning car. <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Moana">Moana</a> was among the dead.</p>

<p>Reports suggest that the businessman died in a road accident in Borrowdale, Harare.</p>
<p>Zimbabwe national police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed Ginimbi’s death saying he died on the spot.<br/>
Ginimgi’s car was involved in a head in collision between 5 and 6am.</p>

<p>Danny Kuwanga, one of the first people to arrive at the scene, told ZimLive that Kadungure was speeding. He said:</p>
<blockquote><p>It happened in front of my eyes. He was speeding. He first overtook me and as he tried to overtake a second vehicle, that’s when he crashed into the Honda Fit driving the opposite way.</p></blockquote>
<p>Kuwanga added that he was joined by three other men and they pulled Kadungure away from the vehicle which was now a fireball. He said:</p>
<blockquote><p>The girls didn’t make it out. They were just crying inside the burning car. We couldn’t do anything.</p></blockquote>
<p>The driver and a passenger in the Honda Fit, which was damaged on the front right side, escaped with minor injuries.</p>

Genius Ginimbi Kadungure Has Died

<p>A Harare Magistrate has found Genius Kadungure and his company Piko trading not guilt of smuggling gas and not declaring taxes, The Herald reports.</p>
<p>According to the publication:</p>
<blockquote><p>Piko Trading was charged with two counts of failing to declare tax returns and another count of smuggling gas into the country.  Kadungure was being charged in his own capacity for failing to declare returns on gas sales to the Commissioner of Taxes.</p></blockquote>
<p><a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2020/06/10/harare-magistrate-finds-ginimbis-company-guilt-of-tax-evasion/">Kadungure’s Piko Trading last month was found guilty</a> on 2 counts of tax evasion as Kadungure admitted he did not pay tax for close to 6 years. The magistrate is expected to sentence Piko Trading on those 2 counts.</p>
