Just days after gifting three musicians with brand new Toyota Fortuner, businessman Wicknell Chivayo has now extended his “generosity” to football legend Moses “Bambo” Chunga and veteran ZBC presenter Charles “CNN” Mabika.
On Monday, Chivayo, whose wealth remains somewhat mysterious, presented cars to iconic musicians Leonard Karikoga Zhakata, Olivia Charamba, and Mechanic Manyeruke.
Today, Chivayo announced that he was gifting cars to Chunga and Mabika in recognition of their contributions to football and their inspirational impact on millions of fans across Zimbabwe. Said Chivayo:

A rich man named Wicknell Chivayo gave cars to famous football players Moses Chunga and Charles Mabika as a gift. He also gave cars to musicians before. He said Chunga and Mabika are heroes in football and deserve recognition for their hard work. Chivayo praised Chunga's skills on the field and Mabika's commentary on games. He thanked them for inspiring many people in Zimbabwe. Chivayo spent a lot of money on the cars and wanted to show his appreciation for the two football legends. He hopes they enjoy the new cars.

Chivayo Gifts Cars To Moses Chunga And Charles Mabika

Veteran football commentator Charles Mabika believes Dynamos will beat Highlanders in the 2022 edition of the Independence Day Cup final.
The country’s two biggest football clubs clash at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo on Independence Day on Monday.
Speaking to Nehanda Radio, Mabika said DeMbare will successfully defend their title given their current good run of form. He said:

I tip DeMbare to win the Independence trophy after taking a very close look at their current form.
It looks like they (Dynamos) are set to win the game though we all also know cup games are never won easily.

This will be the second time in 17 years the final of the Independence Cup will be played in Bulawayo.
The City of Kings, which is Zimbabwe’s second-largest city, last hosted the invitational tournament in 2005.
The match pitted the now-defunct Motor Action and Highlanders.
Bosso suffered a 2-0 defeat to Motor Action courtesy of ex-Dembare striker Edmore Mufema’s brace.

Mabika Tips Dynamos To Win Independence Day Cup

Tribute To Choruma: Charles Mabika's 2001 Commentary

Veteran Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) sports commentator <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Charles_Mabika" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Charles Mabika</a> reportedly left his audience stunned after he mentioned, without using notes, every Soccer Star since 1969.
Mabika was speaking at the 2019 Soccer Star awards held in Harare recently.
Mabika’s extraordinary presentation was revealed by another prominent sports journalist, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Steve_Vickers" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Steve Vickers</a> through his Twitter handle where he attached a picture of the duo and wrote:

Mabika Stuns Audience By Recalling Every Soccer Star Since 1969... From His Memory

Fellow legendary footballers who played with and/or knew Hamid Dhana have mourned one of their own. Speaking to the Herald several footballers who spoke to the publication expressed their sadness over the departed footballer’s passing.
