Nonkululeko Zandile Ndlovu is a seasoned Zimbabwean radio and Television Broadcaster, Communications expert, Marketer, and Financial expert with over 22 years of experience.

Education

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Solusi University and a Master of Science degree in International Trade and Diplomacy from Unicorn of Zimbabwe. She has many postgraduate qualifications as a Fellow of the IVLP Media Entrepreneurship from the USA, a Fellow in the Women In News Africa Accelerator Program, Project Management, French and Portuguese language certificates to mention a few. She has diverse expertise working with development partners, government, civil society organisations, and private-public sectors among various institutions. Zandile is a multi-lingual, resourceful, passionate creative and International trade and diplomacy practitioner with great verbal communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong time management and multi-tasking skills.[1]

Career

Zandile Ndlovu stands out as a dedicated advocate for Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) and Gender Rights. [2] Her journey began in the banking sector in Zimbabwe before transitioning to a role as the Operations Manager for Media Monitoring Africa in South Africa. Here, she honed her skills in training journalists on ethical reporting around child protection and in managing grants from international organizations.

Returning to Zimbabwe, Zandile, also known affectionately as Zaza the Zazalicious One, made her mark in the media industry as a seasoned broadcaster and international Director of Ceremonies. Her vibrant multilingual radio shows on ZiFM, Starfm, and Powerfm, along with her role as a current affairs producer, presenter, Political and Social Analyst, and News Anchor at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, have earned her widespread recognition.

Zandile's passion for advocacy was evident during the Covid-19 pandemic when she spearheaded the coordination of the Covid-19 Gender-Based Violence & SRHR National Publicity Outreach and Awareness campaign across the country in collaboration with various ministries, organizations, and media partners. Beyond her media engagements, Zandile founded BrandZa Communications, specializing in creating documentaries for government and corporate clients. Her diverse experiences in events management, promotions, fundraising, and stakeholder liaison have shaped her into a versatile professional with a strong commitment to social causes.

Zandile's impact extends beyond borders, as seen in her participation as a spokesperson for the Zimbabwe Championships for Performing Arts delegation at the 20th World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California.
