It is not just Kombis anymore. All drivers in Zimbabwe drive like Kombi drivers. Especially on Arcturus. There are often three lanes of vehicles when it is only a 2 lane road. They drive through red robots, they overtake on corners, speed up going into intersections. A sign of failed policing. Primary cause, corruption. One through buying of licences and others through driving without licences.

Zimbabweans, especially the youth have a resistance to all formations yet they are putting the lives of many in danger. That accident could have been avoided had the driver followed the road rules. Here is a punitive measure which the gvt can use. Five people were killed on Tuesday evening in Mabvuku, Harare when a kombi was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the accident, which occurred around 5 PM along Donnybrook Road in the Chizhanje area. Police said:

The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident which occurred today at around 1700 hours along Donnybrook Road, Chizhanje area, Mabvuku in which a lorry was involved in a head-on collision with a commuter omnibus.
Subsequently, another commuter omnibus rammed into the back of the first commuter omnibus. Five people died on the spot. Police are currently at the scene.
