The CCC Reveals Leadership In Zimbabwe Parliament

The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, has revealed its leadership in Parliament. The Speaker of Parliament, Hon Advocate Mudenda, announced the appointments during a Parliament session that concluded with a two-week recess. In a statement released by the party on February 16, 2024, it was disclosed that Clifford Hlatywayo has been appointed as the Leader of the house in the National Assembly.

The CCC’s Chief Administrator and Leader of the Bureau of Administration, Senator Jameson Timba, made several additional appointments to address leadership gaps within Parliament.

Advocate Agency Gumbo (MP Hatcliffe) was assigned to head the Bureau of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs. His role is to collaborate with the CCC leadership in Parliament and establish a connection between the Party leadership in the Bureau of Administration and the Parliament leadership. This coordination aims to define and implement the citizens’ agenda within the parliamentary space.

Furthermore, Senator Jameson Timba made appointments to various domestic and international committees of Parliament. Notable appointments include:

CHAMISA HAD ASSURED THE IMPERIALISTS, HIS BOSSES, THAT COME 2023 HE WAS GOING INSIDE STATE HOUSE AND INVITE ALL IMPERIALISTS FOR A STATE BANQUET. SO HE BOWED OUT SHAMEFUL. INFACT WHAT HE DID WAS NOBLE COZ AFTER ALL FALSE HOPES HE MADE HIS TIMID FOLLOWERS TO BELIEVE, HE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO VAMOOSE. HIS CHARACTER IS TYPICAL OF A PASTOR AND I THINK HE COULD BE A VERY GOOD PASTOR OR A BETTER BOARDING MASTER.

Correction. ... only if they are representing the same party that recalled them. Simple example of the Tshabangu recalls who contested as independents.
Zuze · 11 months ago
kuZANU kwakazara mado4. @Muzondi, Constitution doesn't involve itself in nitty gritties like you are saying. What you are saying (and completely misunderstanding) is contained in subsidiary legislation. As great legal minds say, "The law does not involve itself in trivia. In Latin they say, "

... continued.. "De minimis non curator lex"
Gweshegweshe · 11 months ago
@zuze and @zimbo...mahere and crew were not recalled. They're therefore ineligible to contest for the same vacancies they created. This is more than fascinating. What do you think? 🤔

Zuze · 11 months ago
@Gweshegweshe, seriously speaking you are indebted to your fertile imagination instead of fact for your utterances. Since Crossing-of-The-Floor was abolished in the Zimbabwean statutes, the only way one can change allegiance in Parliament is to resign, cause a by-election and contest (if so wishing) under the new banner. That is the honourable thing to do. Unless of course you are like the weasel, Jonathan Moyo. Remember that in 2000(?) after he had been expelled from ZANU, he struck a deal with Morgan Tsvangirai in which he ostensibly supported MDC, and MDC decided not to field a candidate in Tsholotsho, thereby allowing Jonso to get into Parliament as an independent. After getting into Parliament he always voted with ZANU and started disparaging MDC, but still maintained his 'Independent' tag while for all intents and purposes he was a ZANOID. Where you get this uneducated and untutored opinion that an MP who resigns cannot stand for re-election, I have no clue.

@Gweshegweshe, in a different matter, my training in Educational Psychology and Industrial Psychology tells me that you're Wessel Grummige under another nom de guerre. You may deny it publicly here, but in your heart of hearts you know I am in point @Weasel.

All of a sudden there are now structures 😂😅🤣🤣🤣 strategic ambiguity 😂😅🤣🤣 politics is not private affairs, there is no need to be secretive. Infiltration is natural in politics, you infiltrate your opponents and they infiltrate you. The idea of a clean party is super naive. Organisation like mosad, cia, KGB, MI15 and so on are created specifically for the purpose of infiltration, even in business you infiltrate your opponents to get certain advantages. Strategic ambiguity failed dismally
. · 11 months ago
Strategic Ambiguity worked very well by exposing the undesirable elements of the party, the grassroots now know who is who. The SA now needs to be revamped and fine tuned , top leadership should be t****ughly vetted...
@...I bet that the new setup is praying for infiltration by Chamisa.
.... · 11 months ago
When zanupf was chasing parliament and presidency CCC was busy trying to expose infiltrators 😂😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣what a joke. Munochembera muchidzingirira mimvuri. Strategic ambiguity only saved to destroy the opposition and exsed Chamisa as the apex dictator. Vanhu vakavhota under difficult conditions vamwe vakafa in an attempt to end zanupf dictatorship vasingazive kuti Chamisa is worse. Chamisa wants ma "yes boss" type of followers who never question what he does or says and he was plenty of those. But that only works in churches not in politics. People in politics and at leadership level always aspire to one day lead the organisations and that very normal and healthy. Chamisa wacho could not wait for Morgan's burial before grabbing power unconstitutionally because he had the aspiration. Its not selling out when you aspire to be a leader
