Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr Leaves Manchester United, Rejoins Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr has left Manchester United following the termination of his dad’s contract at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese star gave an explosive interview in mid-December that ended with him and his now former club opting to sever ties.
His son, Cristiano, was playing in the club’s academy but has since left and rejoined Real Madrid’s youth ranks, where he has previously played.
Cristiano Jnr’s youth career has largely mirrored his father’s – moving from Madrid to Juventus and then Manchester.
He’s now back at Los Blancos, where his father had been training in order to remain in shape before he signed for Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia on Friday in a deal believed to be worth more than 200 million euros.
Cristiano Ronaldo will play for two-and-a-half seasons before taking up an ambassadorial role with Saudi Arabia set to bid for the World Cup in 2030.
