FULL TEXT: ANC Statement On The Outcome Of NEC Meeting On Ramaphosa's Future

The National Executive Committee of South Africa’s governing ANC party met this Monday to consider the future of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

This was after a parliamentary report accused Ramaphosa of misconduct and potentially violating the oath of office.

Public Protector of South Africa’s inquiry relates to findings that large sums of foreign currency were hidden at Ramaphosa’s private game farm and he failed to report the money missing when it was stolen in 2020.

In a statement seen by Pindula News, ANC NEC said Ramaphosa attended the meeting and was allowed to recuse himself. Reads the statement:

ANC STATEMENT ON THE OUTCOMES OF THE SPECIAL NATIONAL COMMITTEE

Members of the NEC having received the report of the special NWC held on Sunday the 4th of December 2022 engaged extensively, fully and frankly; concluding as follows:

That the NEC resolved that the ANC will vote against the adoption of the Report of the Section 89 Panel, given the fact that it is being taken on review.

In the UK Boris Johnson was forced to resign because he held a party at number 10 Downing Street during COVID 19 Lockdowns. Ndopaunoona musiyano. Other nations do not compromise on standards & noone is above the law. Here in Zimbabwe billions of dollars from diamond revenue & command agriculture are still unaccounted for, yet the culprits are still in office - looting more money from the taxpayers. These ruling parties in Africa are just Ruining parties, with strongmen who are bigger than the party. They defend corruption as if it's a good thing. At this rate, South Africa is surely going to the dogs. The opposition will sure gain more traction from this ANC political blunder. Until the next general election in SA, the EFF, the DA & others will be calling Rhamapithecus a thug & criminal.
