Dynamos Set To Appoint Maruwa As New Coach
Dynamos Football Club has reportedly turned to former Black Rhinos Coach Herbert Maruwa to replace Tonderayi Ndiraya, whose contract will not be renewed by the Glamour boys.
Affectionately known as ‘Jompano,’ Maruwa worked as a juniors coach at Dynamos before joining the first team technical department under Kalisto Pasuwa who is now in Malawi.
Maruwa spent five years in charge of Black Rhinos, where he built a competitive side before he was fired for what the club termed ‘unbecoming behaviour’.
Dynamos Spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo told ZBC News the announcement will be made soon. He said:
The coach is coming soon, we are not going to create a vacuum, we will announce soon.
ZBC News also reports that Maruwa who also had a stint in Swaziland will be assisted by Genesis Mangombe, who is credited for the attacking brand of football at Yadah.
The new technical team could also signal the return of outspoken coach, Lloyd Chigove popularly known as MaBlanyo, who is expected to join the first team technical department by virtue of him being the Dynamos Juniors coach.
