Scores of learners ran amok at Kumalo Primary School in Bulawayo last Thursday claiming they were slapped by an invisible hand in the toilet, while some of the learners claimed to have seen a strange snake.
The incident has become a talking point on parents’ WhatsApp group, reported B-Metro.
The publication reported sources at the school as saying most of the affected pupils were between Grades 3 and 5.
It is alleged that a group of learners heard a mysterious voice shouting at them while they were near the toilet. They fled in different directions in hysteria.
It is further claimed that thereafter some of the pupils complained of headaches while some were hallucinating.
A parent who spoke to the publication but refused to be named so as to protect their children from victimisation at the school, said:
My child is doing Grade 5. She told me while she was in the toilet with her friend, they heard a voice forcing them to run outside and report to their class teacher.
Today she refused to go to school claiming that she fears being attacked by the mysterious beings.
Five parents told B-Metro that their children were slapped by an invisible hand causing them to suffer hallucinations.
Another parent claimed that their child saw a snake in the toilet before it vanished inexplicably. Said the parent:
My child told me that he saw a snake while he was in the loo and when he looked at it for the second time it disappeared.
The School Development Committee chairperson Banele Jumo said he saw messages posted by parents on a WhatsApp group but was yet to get to the school to find out if the claims were true or false.

Honestly speaking before covid 19 started, schools were being used by different churches as church venues on different occasions.
What am I trying to say, am simple saying when churches were allowed to conduct church services at school, those places were protected from these evil spirits attacking our children today at schools.
Genuinely speaking alot of parents can agree on that before schools were safe for they was no room for such spirits attacking children at schools for prayers were always made at weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays.
now we having many attacks to our children by evil mysterious creatures some children manifesting demonic spirits.
the truth be told that others will fail to digest it, this school premises are now a breeding ground for evil spirit, school children are now targeted by evil spirits.
1)these places are now lacking that covering that came as a results conducted by church's before.
2)what can be done to stop such, prayers should be done at those premises to avoid attacks from these evil spirits.
3)yes churches were banned to hold services at schools, that was done to prevent spread of covid 19.Come to think of it if covid prevention measures are practiced at schools as gorvement allows church's to rent their premises.
We won't have such attacks at schools.
4) these attacks on Schools it's all spiritual, it doesn't need chivhanu or isintu.
prayers have to be conducted at schools for the covering

@Evangelist that's true government should readmit churches at schools. Jesus said "Upon this rock I'll build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." When church is allowed to hold services at schools, that shall be the end of those hallucinations.
