Govt Calls For Applications From Newly Qualified Teachers
The government has called for applications from newly qualified teachers to fill vacancies in 13 districts, in a bid to balance the teacher-learner ratio in schools.
In a joint vacancy announcement dated August 23, 2022, the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education said:
The Public Service Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is inviting applications from newly qualified teachers.
FeedbackThose interested should complete application forms available at the Public Service Commission’s respective district offices.
The Commission reiterated that the vacancies were strictly for newly qualified teachers who are ready to serve in the stated districts.
The Sunday Mail reports that in Mashonaland Central, the districts include:
1). Mbire,
2). Muzarabani,
3). Rushinga
In Mashonaland East, the districts are:
i). Mudzi,
ii). Uzumba-Maramba-Pfungwe
iii). Kariba
In Masvingo, the districts are:
a). Mwenezi and
b). Chiredzi,
In Matebeleland North the districts are:
1). Binga and
2). Hwange
Other places are Gokwe in Midlands and Chipinge in Manicaland.
