Nyasha Kadenge Leaves Ngezi Platinum Stars
Ngezi Platinum Stars have fired chief executive officer Nyasha Kadenge after almost six years at the helm.
Kadenge joined Madamburo soon after the club was promoted to the Premier Soccer League in 2016 and played a key role in setting up administrative structures at the club. Ngezi Platinum Stars said in a statement:
Kadenge was appointed as the first CEO of the club soon after its promotion to the PSL in 2016.
FeedbackShe was instrumental in putting together administrative structures of the club and was one of the pioneer female leaders of a Premier Soccer League football team in Zimbabwe.
The board and club executive thank Kadenge for her contribution to the club and wish her well as she leaves to pursue personal interests.
Efforts are underway to fill the position of club CEO.
In February this year, the then head coach Rodwell Dhlakama resigned after he had been sent on forced leave.
In March, the club unveiled former Warriors stars Benjani Mwaruwari and Tinashe Nengomasha as head coach and team manager, respectively.
Bongani Mafu was appointed the first assistant and Takesure Chiragwi, who had been working as the team’s interim coach, was appointed the second assistant. John Vera was named the new performance analyst.
