Access Forex Resumes Local USD Money Transfer Service
Access Forex (Pvt) Ltd, a local money transfer company, resumed its domestic money transfer service on Wednesday, 27 April, after updating its existing license with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ).
Last week the company announced that it was temporarily suspending its domestic money transfer service but said the RBZ directive did not affect international money transfers.
Access Forex told Pindula News this Wednesday that its updated licence now covers local (city-to-city) money transfers and the temporary suspension has been lifted with immediate effect. The company said:
Access Forex offers international money transfers under license from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) and as a registered Money Transfer Agent (MTA) we routinely comply with all exchange control requirements and will continue to do so.
Based on submissions made to the RBZ we are delighted to advise you, our valued clients that the RBZ has since updated our existing license to also cover local (city-to-city) money transfers, and subsequently, lifted the temporary suspension on the service with immediate effect.
As of 8 am today all local money transfer services are again available on our system alongside international ones for your convenience.
