PICTURES: Kenya Embassy In Zimbabwe Cleans Mbare

The Embassy of Kenya in Zimbabwe Friday cleaned Mbare, one of the oldest high-density suburbs in Harare to commemorate the Wangari Maathai Day.

Africa Environment Day/Wangari Maathai Day which is celebrated annually on 3 March, was established by the Organization of African Unity in 2002 as a way of raising awareness of the pressing environmental challenges facing the continent.

Garbage has been piling in Mbare with Harare City Council failing to execute its mandate. See pictures below.
