FULL TEXT: City Of Bulawayo Announces Water Supply Interruptions
The City of Bulawayo has urged the residents in the City Of kings that there will be water supply disruption as they are building part of the Tuli Reservoir to better serve the residents.
CITY OF BULAWAYO
NOTICE ON INTERRUPTION OF WATER SUPPLY TO AREAS FED BY TULI RESERVOIR.The public is advised that there will be interruptions in water supply to suburbs fed by Tuli Hill Reservoir. This is to facilitate reservoir building for Tuli Reservoir whose level is low due to demand that outstripped supply over the last 24 hours.
FeedbackWater supplies are expected to be restored to the suburbs fed by Tuli Reservoir tomorrow, Saturday the 20th of March 2021 at 0800hrs, a time when the reservoir level is expected to have reached the sufficient level to allow for restoration of water supplies.
Below are the areas fed by Tuli Hill Reservoir:
- Esigodini,
- Imbizo Barracks,
- Fortunes gate,
- Selbourne Park,
- Matsheumhlope,
- Parklands,
- Khumalo,
- Queenspark,
- Suburbs,
- Mahatshula,
- Woodville,
- Kingsdale,
- Lochview,
- Sunninghill,
- Marlands,
- Glencoe,
- Riverside,
- Waterford,
- Manningdale,
- Willsgrove,
- Buenavista,
- Douglasdale.
Residents are advised to conserve water accordingly and ensure that taps remain closed in-case of earlier restoration of water supplies.
Bulawayo City Council wishes to apologise to its valued consumers for the inconvenience likely to be caused.
