MDC T Still To Pay 2018 Polling Agents
Polling Agents that participated in the 2018 elections for the MDC T are yet to be paid according to Newsday. The matter reportedly came to light during a meeting between the party President Douglas Mwonzora and the party’s executive where the reasons for not paying the election agents were not given.
Speaking after the meeting, Douglas Mwonzora’s spokesperson Lloyd Damba said they had resolved to pay all polling agents that were not paid:
He (Mwonzora) promised to pay the polling agents who were not paid in the 2018 elections. In his (Mwonzora) address to the Harare provincial council, he reiterated his call for national dialogue, engagement and reconciliation without pre-conditions, adding that the dialogue they want should be genuine, transparent, and meaningful with clear objectives.

Meanwhile, yesterday the party’s spokesperson berated Nelson Chamisa and Tendai Biti after Twimbos scoffed at his statement on Nelson Chamisa’s State of the Nation Address, which signifies the party’s immediate departure from their stance of not participating in politics of hate.
