CIO Investigating Evidence That Ramaphosa Is Sponsoring Nelson Chamisa - Report
Zimbabwean Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) is reportedly investigating evidence that South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa is reportedly sponsoring the opposition leader Nelson Chamisa, The Star reports.
According to the publication, Ramaphosa is being accused of trying to destabilize Zimbabwe by sponsoring the opposition. The development was reportedly revealed by ANC Chairperson Gwede Mantashe as he was accusing Zanu PF of blackmailing the ANC.
Mantashe also dared Mugwadi who threatened to leak a bombshell on the ANC’s visit to Harare, to drop the bombshell and said:
You can’t always have a neighbour that is always blackmailing you. This relationship with Zimbabwe (ZANU PF) is always filled with threats and blackmail. I don’t like that. If ZANU PF wants to spill that beans on our meeting with them they just must. I am eager to hear what they want to spill
Meanwhile, Zanu PF is reportedly not happy with the ANC meeting G40 members in South Africa and wanted the party to silence President Mnangagwa’s critic Julius Malema. Both issues were negatively responded to as the ANC said it will meet with anyone who is legally in South Africa and said they cannot silence Malema in a democracy.
