Daring MDC MPs Walk Out On Khupe In Parly
Daring MPs belonging to the Nelson Chamisa led MDC Alliance political party today walked out on THokozani Khupe in parliament in a move that might seal their recall from the court-sanctioned MDC T outfit, New Zimbabwe reports.
Khupe was delivering her maiden speech in parliament when all MDC Alliance MPs stood up and left the August House according to the publication:
All the MPs from the Nelson Chamisa led MDC Alliance stood up and walked out as Parliament deputy speaker Tsitsi Gezi recognised her during a debate on the State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Emmerson Mnangagwa last Thursday.
FeedbackKhupe has been recalling MPs voted into office using the MDC Alliance card on the basis that they have stopped being members of the outfit she now leads after the supreme court made her the interim MDC T leader in March.
Khupe has so far recalled 31 MDC Alliance MPs and over many more councilors countrywide up to the point of virtually crippling some councils.
