Janet Manyowa Joins ZIMURA Board

Award-winning gospel songstress Janet Manyowa has been appointed as a board member of the Zimbabwe Music Rights Association (Zimura).

Zimura made the announcement about the appointment through a post on Facebook saying Manyowa would be joining the board that is chaired by renowned artiste Albert Nyathi. Posted Zimura:

The Zimura Board and staff welcome Mrs Janet Manyowa as she joins the following members on the Zimura Board: Albert Nyathi (Chairperson), Machanic Manyeruke (Vice-Chairperson), Advocate Witness Zhangazha (Legal Advisor), Phillip Chipfumbu, First Batani, Nathaniel Ncube, Hon. Dingumuzi Phuti and Polisile Ncube-Chimhini (Executive Director).

Manyowa through her manager, Munyaradzi Manyowa who is also her husband said she is elated by the appointment.

She pledged to combine efforts with fellow board members to encourage the growth and sustenance of Zimbabwe’s music industry.
