Dynamos Closely Monitoring Players' Conduct During Lockdown
Dynamos has put its players under surveillance to ensure that they are not involved in money games, engage in drug abuse or other unbecoming behaviour.
DeMbare coach Tonderai Ndiraya said the club expects players to adhere strictly to the code of conduct and those who are found wanting will be disciplined. He said:
Yes, we have put people in each and every suburb where our players stay so that they can monitor them.
FeedbackLook, we are a big institution and we have enacted a code of conduct which each and every one of the players should strictly adhere to.
That code of conduct works, whether football is under lockdown or not, but the fact that we cannot meet as a team, due to the lockdown regulations, means that code of conduct is even more important.
Ndiraya said the club was investigating Barnabas Mushunje and others, who were reported to have been spotted in public places without authority.
Reports indicate that some Premiership players, including those from Dynamos, have been playing money games.
