Jaure Speaks About 'Difficult' Road To Recovery, Thanks Club & Fellow Warriors Players

Dynamos captain Partson Jaure is confident that he is nearing full fitness as he continues his recovery from a head injury he sustained in a road accident in March this year.

Jaure is expected to be fit when the 2020 Premier Soccer Season starts in August after it was delayed by the coronavirus-induced lockdown. Speaking in an interview with Daily News recently, Jaure said:

I’m feeling much better now. I’m doing physio while waiting for the next step from doctors otherwise I’m almost there.

It has not been an easy road and I want to thank all those who stood by me during the difficult times.

The DeMbare defender also saluted the club’s executive, fans and all those who stood by him during the trying times. He said:

My club has been awesome, they have been on my side from day one, the same applies to the club’s fans. I’m really grateful for what they did for me.

I also want to salute my Warriors teammates for chipping in as well. I’m humbled by such a kind gesture.

Not forgetting those who were praying for me, it helped me a lot and may God bless them all.

Jaure was involved in an accident in March and was left with severe facial and head injuries which saw him undergoing delicate surgery to fix head fractures.

He was assisted by the Dynamos executive, the club’s fans and fellow national team players based in the diaspora, who raised in excess of US$5 000 to help foot hospital bills.
