ZIFA Yet To Approve NSS, Rufaro Stadium To Host 2020 PSL Matches
The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has informed the Premier Soccer League that none of the stadiums in Harare has been approved for use for the 2020 season.
Barbourfields, Luveve, Gibbo, Vengere, Baobab and Mandava are the six that have been approved while Rufaro and the National Sports Stadium (NSS) can still be re-inspected.
Below is the letter that was written by ZIFA to PSL Chief Executive Officer Kenny Ndebele:
The Zimbabwe Football Association hereby informs your esteemed office that the following stadiums have been provisionally homologated by the First Instance Body for the 2020 season:
- Gibbo Stadium
- Vhengere Stadium
- Barbourfields Stadium
- Luveve Stadium
- Mandava Stadium
- Baobab Stadium
For re-inspection of other stadiums the procedure is as follows:
- Recommendations from the FIB stadium report should be adhered to.
- Pictures and progress report should be sent first.
- FIB will assess whether to send an inspection team or not.
Meanwhile, please kindly avail club licensing that were duly completed by clubs.
