PICTURES: Karanda Bridge Collapses

The New Karanda bridge which leads to the popular Karanda Hospital was swept away by Ruya River the Herald reports.

The bridge was still under construction according to the publication. The incident was confirmed by Rushinga MP Tendai Nyabani who said:

It’s confirmed the bridge was swept away last night and I have also shared the information on social media but that is not my constituency. The washed away bridge borders Mt Darwin South and Mt Darwin East constituencies.
