<p>The video shows police in smashing cars with batons and beating pedestrians at the <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Ximex_Mall">Ximex Mall</a> spot in Harare. The spot is known for being home to dealers in gadgets and forex. According to the person that apparently took the footage, this incident happened on Saturday – presumably the 24th of August 2019.</p>
<p>It is not clear yet why the police descended on the place.</p>
