Glen View South Aspiring MP Eyes Health, Education Overhaul
Phillip Chamunorwa Ndengu, an independent candidate in the Glen View South Constituency by-election, said that he will work on improving health and education services in the constituency if elected.
The 37-year-old Glen View 3 resident told The Herald that having been born in the suburb, he understands the challenges the people are facing. He said:
When I was born in the 1980s our clinics served five to ten thousand people and since then the population has increased by almost 1000 per cent and there is no ambulance.
FeedbackAt school, we were only 30 to 50 students in a class but currently, there are more than 80 students in a class. It is high time we add more classrooms to the existing schools as well as develop other schools.
Ndengu will contest against Ellah Zisani and Parlington Pikelele (UANC), Kasema Maxwell (Independent), Offard Machuwe (Zanu PF), Rosemary Nyamayedenga (Freezim Congress), Vincent Tsvangirai MDC Alliance and Edwin Million of LEAD.
