Soldier Murder Accused Miners Set Free

The two artisanal miners who were accused of murdering 2 soldiers in Bindura have been let free by the Bindura Magistrate’s Court. They were let go after the state failed to link them to the murder.
The two were accused of attacking 3 soldiers (Shaw Tizora, Tawanda Garega and Pumulani Khuumani) with knives during a fight. Tizora and Garega were killed in the alleged attack and Khuumani survived.
The charges were however withdrawn on Thursday withdrawn on 2 May 2019 at the before plea at the Bindura Magistrates’ Courts.
