Man Kills Stepdaughter For Interfering In Domestic Dispute

Police in Mberengwa are looking for a 44-year-old man who reportedly murdered his stepdaughter after she tried to reconcile him and her mother following a nocturnal domestic quarrel.

The man has been identified as Aaron Moyo of Maromo village under Chief Mataga. He allegedly stabbed Tariro Shumba (21) all over her body leading to her death before she had reached the hospital.

Police say on 17 March this year, there was a domestic dispute involving Moyo and his wife Colleta Ncube (38). Shumba, who was sleeping in another room woke up and attempted to resolve the dispute only for Moyo to hit her with a log several times.
