Woman Who Died During Stampede At Zim Vs Congo Match Identified

The woman who died during a stampede at the Warriors match on Sunday has been identified as 38-year-old Edina Nyamadzawo from Msasa Park, Harare.

Nyamadzawo is set to be buried today. ZIFA president Felton Kamambo and PSL chairman Farai Jere are scheduled to travel to Domboshawa today for Nyamadzawo’s burial. The two visited Nyamadzawo’s home yesterday to pay their respects and see where they could help. Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson, Paul Nyathi, told The Herald that the other two injured fans were discharged from the hospital.
