Tele-evangelists & Prophets Have Captured The Media - Mangwana

Permanent secretary in the Ministry for Information Ndavaningi Mangwana says that tele-evangelists and prophets have captured the local media.

Mangwana asked why the emerging charismatic prophets are not questioned by the media:

Talking of the powerful, these days it is not only those in politics or government. It is also members of the high society such as modern day prophets aka gospel entrepreneurs or gospel-preneurs.

Mangwana was speaking at the Voluntary Media Council of Zimbabwe (VMCZ) inaugural Investigative Journalism Awards ceremony, on Wednesday night in Harare.
