Mnangagwa Leaves For DRC To Meet Joseph Kabila

President Emmerson Mnangagwa will today leave Zimbabwe for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where he is expected to meet the country’s leader Joseph Kabila to apprise him of political developments in Zimbabwe that resulted in the resignation of his predecessor Robert Mugabe last November.
Presidential spokesperson, George Charamba, yesterday Mnangagwa will also discuss bilateral relations. Said Charamba:
It is a continuation of courtesy calls to the Sadc region. We have been to South Africa, Angola, Namibia, Mozambique and Zambia, now we are off to DRC as part of the courtesy calls. Within the context of the courtesy call, there will also be bilateral talks.
