Carl Joshua Ncube nominated for top South African award

Local Comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube has been nominated for South Africa’s top comedy awards, the Savanna Comics Choice. The awards will be held on the 9th of September, in Johannesburg. Ncube was nominated for the Pan-African Comic of The Year where he will be going against Bright Okpocha (Nigeria), Patrick Idringi Salvado (Uganda), Fernando Filipe (Namibia) and Tshepo “Masapo” Mpiti (Lesotho). The award will be voted for by fellow comedians, and is open to non-South Africans only.

This is amazing because this is the biggest award you can get in South Africa.
