Sir Wicknell fails to pay Pasuwa's salary for 9 months

Harare businessman Wicknell Chivayo who pledged to pay former Warriors coach Kallisto Pasuwa’s salary has been unable to do so over the last nine months. As a result Zifa reportedly owe Pasuwa nine months unpaid salary (US$63 000).

Speaking to SportsZone ZIFA board member (finance) Philemon Machana revealed that the football governing body owes Pasuwa salary which should have been paid by Chivayo. Said Machana:

You have to understand also that all the things being equal Pasuwa would not be owed any outstanding salary if he was paid directly by ZIFA. His salary came through a benefactor and we only got to know recently that he wasn’t getting his dues.
