First Lady allegedly seizes 3 houses from diamond dealer after botched deal over $1,3m ring

According to The Zimbabwe Independent, First Lady Grace Mugabe bought a $1,3 million  diamond ring from Jamal Ahmed in Dubai last year.  She is reported to have later demanded a refund when she changed her mind.  However, the dealer was unable to refund the money instantly and requested more time. This  did not go down well with Grace, who allegedly sent armed man to seize the dealer’s three houses.

The dealer then applied to the High Court for recourse. He alleges that he  received the following message from the First Lady:

Please serve those papers in my name. Don’t involve my son it won’t help.  Whoever is advising you will just take money from you unfortunately. All I need is my money instead of doing things that you will regret about.
