Manyuchi dismisses rumours that he lost his WBC Welterweight Silver Championship title to Russian boxer

Charles Manyuchi‘s Manager, Chris Malunga of Oriental Quarry Boxing Promotions has dismissed media reports that Manyuchi lost his WBC Welterweight Silver Championship title to Russian Dmitry Mikhaylenko after he failed to fight in the stipulated time.

He explained the process that results in a champion losing his title which he said is only created for better opponents waiting for a fight with the champion. Malunga also revealed that he will be travelling to the Miami, USA this week to organize a lucrative match for Manyuchi who is set to fight an Asian opponent in Singapore this year, prior to the Miami fight and urged the media to promote boxing as a sport in the country and help build a legacy through reporting positively about Manyuchi.
