Trae Yung is an award winning Zimbabwean musician who specialises in Zimhip hop and Zimdancehall. She is associated with TMG Rekodz. Trae Yung won the Best Female Rapper of the Year award in 2012 and 2013.

She was born Tracy Mbeulani.[1]
Career
In an interview she mentioned her first project was with Marshal Mutemajiri,better known as Dark Face. Together they recorded a track called ‘Kickin Up A Storm’ which she said featured one of her personal favourite verses. They recorded with McGuyver at Ice Reign records. She realised she had to start taking her career as a musician seriously after they got positive feedback.
After her first project she teamed up again with Dark Face on more tracks ,together with MC Cut. They recorded songs like ‘We Goin In’ and ‘Look At Us Now’with Xndr and H1. She then got to work with Dija and Mr Noxa on a number of tracks that got to be hits on local radio. ‘Can’t Help it’ and ‘Karekodhy’ managed to top the charts.[2]
In 2016 she featured in the annual Zimbabwe Festival (ZimFest) which took place in Oslo, Norway from 26 to 28 August.[3]
Achievements and Awards
She won the Best Female Rapper of the Year award in 2012 and 2013.[1]
