Takesure Zamar Ncube is a Zimbabwean gosepl musician and songwriter who works with a group called Worship Addicts.
Background
Popularly known as “Minister Zamar”, Takesure Ncube was born and raised in Beitbridge, Zimbabwe. He grew to love music at a tender age and has matured into a recording artist. He was baptised at the age of 12.[1] Takesure got married to girlfriend and former church member Kudzai Marova in December 2015.[2]
Music career
Takesure has written over 500 songs (and still composing), many of which have never been officially recorded but are sung in local churches.[1] He releases his individual projects through Praise Addicts series, with his first album released in August 2011 while Praise Addicts Volume 2 was launched in August 2012. Takesure's music is a fusion of worship, Afro-Jazz, traditional and contemporary soul. He has already toured and ministered in Australia, South Africa and Swaziland among other nations. He has shared the platform with various celebrated international gospel outfits including the likes of Benjamin Dube from South Africa, Keke Phoofolo and Joyous Celebration.[1]
