Outspoken (real name Tongai Leslie Makwawa) is a popular Zimbabwean comedian, poet and musician. He is most known for featuring in Magamba TV internet comedy shows along with Michael Kudakwashe, Comrade Fatso and King Kandoro. He co-founded Magamba Network with Comrade Fatso.
Background
Outspoken was born on 22 September 1983 in Harare. He began writing music when he was Grade Five. His interest in poet led him to become part of the house of hunger poetry slam at the Book Cafe and Mannenburg in Harare.
Career
As a musician Outspoken has band called The Essence which plays drums, bass, guitar, violin and brass. He also performs solo.
