Onesimo Mazai Moyo is the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development.^[1]. Before he became a permanent secretary, Moyo served as the Chief Executive and General Manager of Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe. Moyo also serves as a Non-Executive Director of GB Holdings Limited and Chairman of the Company’s Audit and Risk Management Committee.^[2]

A 2001 United Nations report and a 2002 Global witness report alleged that Moyo was involved in the operations of Cosleg Private Limited , a company implicated in the plunder of natural resources in the DRC.
