Moses Chingwena is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur. He's the co-founder of Croco Motors and currently serves as its chairman.
Background
Chingwena served as the COO of Orion Insurance Company.
Chingwena joined the Century Group in 1997 as General Manager Operations with the Leasing Company of Zimbabwe and was then appointed Managing Director of the division in 1998. He also served as non-executive director of CFX Bank. He became the Group Chief Operating Officer in charge of the commercial bank, leasing company and the insurance company, before leaving bank to start Croco Motors with his wife Anne-Marie Chingwena.
In early 2015, a cousin of Chingwena, Farai Matsika who was now 30% shareholder of Croco Holdings, is reported to have made efforts to exit Croco Motors, saying that he felt crowded by new senior executives hired and that he wanted to focus on other business ventures. The senior executives had been brought in by Chingwena. Matsika reportedly offered his shares to Chingwena, subject to valuation of the business by auditors. Matsika was suspended as CEO however after he ordered a valuation of the company.[1]

Education
Chingwena has a degree in Marketing Management and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management. He also has diplomas in General Management and Marketing.
