Jah Hanief is a Zimbabwean UK-based Dj. He has performed at various shows in Zimbabwe and abroad.

Jah Hanief is brother to Dj Sadiq.[1]
Early career
Jah Hanief started his music career in 1989 at the age of 6.[1] He claims he was spotted by his primary school teacher who gave him the much-needed support. He hit his first stage show at the age of 8 in 1991 not as a singer but a dancer and was well known for break-dancing. He got involved with reggae in the same year as he listened to radio 3fm with DJs like Munya Brown, Otis Freser, Dennis Wilson to name a few.[1]
Career as Dj
In 1994, Jah Hanief worked with musical groups such as Backyard Ruff and Balck Scorpoion. He eventually started his professional career as a D jay in 1997. After relocating to the United Kingdom, Jah Hanief pursued his career and he performed at various high profile shows including one which featured the Jamaican reggae sensation Busy Signal.[1]
