The Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) is a one week long annual music and arts festival and workshop programme held in Harare. The Festival in 2015 will be held from 28 April to 3 May.
At launch of the Articulate theme, curator of the 2015 edition, Manuel Bagorro (also HIFA founder), said:
The arts can articulate the best aspects of who we are as individuals, as productive and imaginative communities, and as a vital, multi-dimensional nation. We are our words, so we speak; we are our ideas, so we think; we are our communal commitment to being expressive, so we all articulate.[1]
